About Us

YES iDo Events is a Timor-Leste–based event planning and production company delivering professionally managed, design-led, and protocol-ready events for corporate, government, diplomatic, and private clients. We believe events are not merely gatherings, they are strategic moments that shape relationships, communicate messages, and leave lasting impressions.

Founded in 2019 by Lezarda Piedade and Fidelia Ribeiro, YES iDo Events was created to elevate the standard of event execution in Timor-Leste by combining professional discipline, women-led leadership, aesthetic refinement, and a stress-free client experience. Our work integrates planning, styling, logistics, guest management, and on-site execution to ensure that every event is not only successful but thoughtfully designed and impeccably delivered.

Meet the Founders

Biography

Lezarda Piedade is the Founder and CEO of YES iDo Events, leading strategic planning, client relations, vendor coordination, and full-cycle execution of high-level events. Her portfolio includes conferences, gala dinners, exhibitions, launches, regional forums and social celebrations delivered for UN agencies, government institutions, development partners, banks, microfinance institutions and leading private companies in Timor-Leste.

Before founding YES iDo Events, she built a 15-year career in financial and operational management across international organizations including Médecins Sans Frontières, the European Union Delegation, AusAID/DFAT, Cardno, and Chemonics International under USAID’s Tourism For All Project. This background gives her a rare ability to run events with institutional discipline, governance understanding, risk awareness and protocol sensitivity.

She is also Founder & CEO of LEZE Café & Restaurant, further demonstrating her operational leadership and experience in managing service-based enterprises. Through YES iDo Events, she is setting a new benchmark for how events are planned and delivered in Timor-Leste, with structure, reliability, and client peace of mind at the center of every engagement.

Biography

Fidelia Ribeiro is the Co-Founder and Creative Director of YES iDo Events, where she leads event styling, thematic concept development, and on-site production. She specializes in shaping events that are visually cohesive, culturally attuned, and designed with intention, ensuring that each project delivers not only aesthetic value, but also a dignified and meaningful experience for guests.

With over two decades of professional experience in client service and relationship management, Fidelia has built a strong foundation in communication, expectation management, and customer experience through her roles at Timor Telecom, Telstra Australia, and Telecom Indonesia. Her background in managing client expectations, resolving high-level service requests, and coordinating across departments has equipped her with the ability to translate client needs into well-executed and emotionally resonant events.

She co-founded YES iDo Events to help raise the standard of event delivery in Timor-Leste through a women-led approach that merges creative excellence, disciplined execution, and cultural intelligence, enabling clients to host events that are intentional, refined, and stress-free.
